Day 1 – travel to Bergen

Arrival at Oslo Airport, Greeting and Welcome by our Driver cum Tour Guide. We will straight away start our journey to Bergen (about 7 hours drive -460km ). We will stop at

·       Hardangervidda National Park is mainland Norway’s largest national park and Northern Europe's highest mountain plateau. Spanning 3,422 square kilometres across three counties, this barren, tree-less tundra offers a dramatic contrast of flat alpine plains to the east and steep, rugged valleys carved by glaciers to the west. It is open 24 hours a day with no entry fees, making it highly popular for back-country hiking, cycling, and cross-country skiing.

·       The Voss Folk Museum (Voss Folkemuseum), established in 1917, is a regional cultural heritage museum located on a scenic hillside at Mølstertunet, overlooking the town of Vossevangen and Vangsvatnet lake in Norway. It preserves an authentic, heritage-listed farm cluster where all 16 original buildings stand precisely in their historical locations, offering a genuine look into rural Norwegian life over the last 500 year

Day 2 – a fjord cruise to Eidfjord

Today, after breakfast, we will take a 3 hours cruise from Bergen to Hardangerfjord– it’s the “Queen Of The Fjords”, after all. It’s also home to Eidfjord, a charming village that would be great to spend some time in. There are plenty of other stops on the cruise, so you could visit somewhere else along the fjord, but Eidfjord is right at the end, giving us the maximum amount of time cruising fjords. Which probably be, your main reason for visiting Norway!

We will drive from Bergen to Norheimsund, which drops you right at the cruise. Eidfjord: This charming fjord village is a popular stop on cruise itineraries, so it can get pretty inundated with tourists. Enjoy wandering along the waterfront past a row of knitted trees, visit a wood maker’s workshop (perfect for a unique gift!) and then walked to a hidden beach. Then, try to reach the viewpoint.

Back to Bergen. Overnight Bergen.

Day 3 – Bergen

After breakfast, we will proceed for Bergen Walking Tour: Walked through the park into the old town and along to the harbor. Bryggen is the place everyone will recognise in Bergen, with its row of charming wooden buildings with shops and restaurants. It’s touristy, of course, but it’s got a great vibe, and you will love exploring the alleyways in behind the famous facades.

Drive back into the city and headed down to the harbour, where it was much busier during the day. We will be going up Mount Floyen by funicular.

Back to Bergen. Overnight Bergen.

Day 4 – Bergen – Gudvangen – Flam – Aurlandsvangen - Borgund

After breakfast, we will drive to Gudvangen. In Gudvangen we will first visit the Viking Valley! The best thing about the Viking Valley is it’s not a museum… it’s an actual Viking village, where people are living as Vikings! The concept came to life in 2017, and has become a popular tourist attraction. You can take part in axe throwing, have a go at archery, and take a tour with one of the residents. The tour shall be excellent, delving into the history and lifestyle of Vikings – essentially, they were Norse pirates.

We will take a cruise from Gudvangen to Flam. The Nærøyfjord Cruise - is a world-class journey through a UNESCO World Heritage site, taking you through one of the narrowest and most dramatic fjords in Europe. Surrounded by peaks towering up to 1,800 metres high, cascading waterfalls, and roadless mountain farms, it is considered an absolute must-do when exploring Western Norway.

We will later drive alongside the fjord to Aurlandsvangen, then disappears into the longest road tunnel in the world for 25km, before sailing through some mountains towards Borgund. This whole area is just AMAZING.

Later, we will drive up to Stegastein viewpoint, The Stegastein Viewpoint is a spectacular, architecturally striking platform suspended 650 meters (2,133 feet) above the Aurlandsfjord in Norway. Jutting out 30 meters (98 feet) from the mountainside, it provides sweeping, panoramic views of the fjord and towering peaks.

Afternoon we will start our journey back to Oslo. (4 hrs 30 min – 303 km)
