ITINERARY : 8 days in Khazastan
1st day - Airport pick up and hotel check in
2nd day – Almaty city tour + Medeu and shymbulak
The vast Medeu District is home to the Central State Museum, which recounts the country’s history, and the distinctive multicolored domes of baroque-style Zenkov’s Cathedral. A habitat for foxes and red deer, Ile-Alatau National Park comprises mountains and alpine meadows. Ice hockey and skating competitions take place at the high-altitude Medeo arena, and a cable car travels up to Shymbulak ski resort.
The key feature of Almaty is that the city is located near high mountains reaching 5000m above sea level. This location makes it possible to enjoy the beauty of the mountains without leaving the city. Thanks to this, in this tour you will have the opportunity to visit one of the landmarks of Almaty - Shymbulak High-Mountain Ski Resort, ride on a cable car to the highest point - 3200m above sea level, and enjoy the panorama of mountain peaks.
3rd day – Visit Charyn canyon and kolsai lake ( stayover at guest house)
Charyn National Park officially, Charyn Canyon National Nature Park is a national park in Kazakhstan, stretching along the Charyn River, including Charyn Canyon. The Canyon, with its thinly stratified red sedimentary rock, is said to resemble the Grand Canyon in the US; it is however smaller - 50 km from end to end.
Kolsai Lake - A series of scenic lakes surrounded by verdant hillsides & meadows with trails connecting them.
4th day – Visit Kaindy lake and back to Almaty
Lake Kaindy is a 400-meter-long lake located in Kazakhstan. The lake reaches depths of nearly 30 meters. It is located 129 kilometers east-southeast of the city of Almaty and is 2,000 meters above sea level.
5th day – Visit Tamgaly tas and ili river
Petroglyphs of Tamgaly Tas – "open-air temple" with rock paintings of Tibetan iconography and inscriptions dated to the second half of the 17th century. Cave paintings were created by the Oirat and Tibetan masters with the active participation of Galdan-Huntaydzhi.
6th - 7th Day : Fly/Train to Astana
8th day – Check out Hotel , free time and airport drop off
